‘Music is a universal language’ suggests that music is undeniably a way of communication, which helps us express feelings and meanings, and composers embed intricate emotions within the melodies and rhythms in their own pieces. Yannis Lee, an artist with disability is not only passionate in playing musical instruments, but also has the potential to create music and compose pieces that belong to him. Yannis’s Chamber Music Recital ‘Speak in Music’ fully presents his artistic talent, allowing him to present his ideas with music as a language. Through creation and performance, he expresses meanings that cannot be conveyed solely through words. Let us savor together the stories he tells.
