2024 Access/VSA International Young Musicians Award Winners in Concert

For nearly five decades, the VSA International Young Musicians Program has highlighted exceptional young musicians (ages 14–25) with disabilities. Four of the winners from this year’s juried competition take the stage in an unforgettable performance:

 

  • Julia LaGrand, violin (Grand Rapids, MI), accompanied by Ginnie Lum, piano
  • Téa Ning LaFleur, voice/guitar (Allston, MA/Osage, MN)
  • Cheuk Him “Anson” Tang, piano (Hong Kong, China/London, uk)
  • Kapono Wong, ukulele (Honolulu, HI)

VSA International Young Musicians Program

Each year outstanding musicians with disabilities from around the world are selected to participate in the VSA International Young Musicians Program. This opportunity is open to soloists and ensembles of any instrument or genre including classical, jazz, hip-hop, rock and more!
