Li Pinky, artist of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, is a visually impaired girl who lost her sight completely due to retinal detachment.
Passionate about singing, Li has performed in various concerts and events for many years. Li has attained Grade 8 in Voice under The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 2016. In 2021, Li graduated from Higher Diploma in Music Studies in Caritas Bianchi College of Careers. Having vocal lessons with Mr. Albert Lim and Ms. Wong Cheuk Yee, Li’s lessons are supported by the ‘Lee Bing Vocal Music Development Fund Award Scheme’, Hong Kong Blind Union Music Project of ‘Seeing Joy In Music’, and ‘Ebenezer Music Academy’ in Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired. Pinky also hopes to become a vocal teacher in the future.
With the encouragement of her colleagues, Pinky joined ACAVIVA, a specialised a cappella singing group founded by Forzando Foundation Limited. She hopes to contribute to the development of Hong Kong's first professional a cappella group for the visually impaired.
